Unfortunately the Querying for files to watch... log means that ibazel has forked out to an invocation of bazel query, nothing to do with the filesystem so your direct request here is likely not going to solve your problem. If you run ibazel test $TARGET, close it and then run it again, it should be nearly instant the second time. If that's not the case, then something in your configuration is invalidating the build graph and you'll need to run that down.
