Hello! Thank you for your interest in this module!
is there a way to declare a variable or an object in the dependencies and have it come through to the function being declared afterwards?
If we are talking about dep
and fn
here then it's not working that way.
The dep
is the list of Gulp tasks which must be completed before the fn
is called. You can't use it to pass some arguments to the fn
function.
However, if you need to pass something externally to the fn
function, you could either use the arguments
option of this module or use Node.js global variable.
Have I answered your question? If not, please clarify.

Your answer makes sense.
What I ended up being able to do was add something to the gulp
value that I'm passing around, since gulp is somewhat global. That solved my issue.
Thanks for taking the time to answer my question! I'll go ahead and close this issue.
