I had been planning to do just that, but recently fell in love w/ Emmet LiveStyle http://livestyle.emmet.io/ and put off a scss version until LS support it (planned feature for version 2).

Before I try to dive back into this. Anyone been updating the SASS stylesheet for changes in master? Otherwise I probably will tonight.

https://github.com/gregrickaby/genesis-sample is probably a good starting point. I know the _site_navigation.scss is correct as I sent PRs to make it so a few days ago.
