"bitcoin -server -tesnet" uses ~/.bitcoin/bitcoin.conf instead of ~/.bitcoin/testnet/bitcoin.conf about bitcoin

The error message needs fixing-- having the bitcoin.conf file in the main datadir (not in the testnet subdir) is the way it is supposed to work.

ok, but then you can't put rpcport=xzy in bitcoin.conf and run two clients in parallel, right?

Right, you need to specify a different -datadir.

Changing the default -rpcport if running -testnet is a change that should be made, so you CAN just run bitcoin -testnet without messing with other confusing options.

So proposed fix would be:

• change error message
• change default -testnet rpcport

I got the same problem with the latest git version, so I think this issue is not solved.
