Error when trying to to install the module about magento2-force-login

can you please try running this command (added version string after package name):

composer require bitexpert/magento2-force-customer-login:1.1.*

The "problem" is, composer tries to use version branch 1.2 for installment, which is only compatible with Magento 2.1. The version branch 1.1 is for compatibility with Magento 2.0, so this should be the branch you need.

Thank you @websharp for your help, the module has been successfully installed .

After playing around with the module, I'm now still having trouble to add the homepage itself to the whitelist. By adding / to the whitelist seems to give access to the whole website while adding /home seems to be not working.

Is there a way to do so? since I want to show visitors membership information when they first visit to the website.
