Showing my support for this feature. I rely on IPFS cluster nodes to pin media content for commercial websites, which is clunky and doesn't have the same advantage as BTFS storage. Allowing me to store media files on the BTFS network, accessible though IPFS nodes would be a game changer. No faffing about, a simple fee, and hey, my IPFS content is hosted around the globe rather than my set pinned clusters of choice.

BTFS is superior to FileCoin, but people just don't use BTFS because it is isolated, and FileCoin because it's silly requirements. BTFS is under underutilised, and built using IPFS technology, so surely support shouldn't be too hard to allow potential renters on the IPFS to put their files on the BTFS network for instant distributed content while maintaining visibility on IPFS.

As I say, BFTS needs to complement and not compete.

Sort of new to BTFS, but this issue had been a dissapointment to me.

IPFS just has a lot more public relays, and there is no real reason to not allow peering with ipfs-peers since CID and swarm is compatible.

Hello Sophia, appreciate the reply, however, I'll rather have this open for a while to build some discussions but if you really need to close the issue it'll be nice to have at least some technical feedback by answering the questions =)

Thanks you!
