Is there any progress/update on this? Personally I'd prefer the bottom status bar.

Nope.. And I doubt I'll have time for this too soon. Sorry.

No problem, the top bar is okay, I'm already used to it. :-) Thanks for the answer and also for the great work on coolreader!

Would be interested by that feature too. And the ability to center the page number at the bottom. Is there a way to help developing only the GUI ?

Hi man,
Unfortunately I'm not really developing much on CR3 anymore. I'm only rarely releasing 'maintenance' updates to include new translations.
If you want you can fork the project and bring your own improvements to it. I'll be glad to merge any useful changes. I've written a basic how-to on setting up the build environment under Linux in the readme file.
Most PocketBook GUI stuff is in ./cr3gui/src/ starting with cr3pocketbook.cpp. The code is rather ugly and written to just work so it'll take a while for you to get used to it. I know it surely took me some time. The thing should've been rewritten and reorganized but that means a lot of time.
If you consider further developing the app and have questions in the process I'm here to answer them. (within the limit of my knowledge and time of course)

Hi,
Unfortunately, I don't like CPP much. So I don't think I will have the time and energy to invest. Doing a small patch would have been OK.
Thanks anyway for your work. Very appreciated :-)
