In all seriousness I'm also happy to submit a PR for these but I wasn't sure if there's some protocol I'd have to go through first in terms of what info is/isn't allowed, etc.

Nah, there's no particular protocol or anything, but things are just changing quickly. I'm working on an all new developer website: https://github.com/blue-button/bluebutton.js/tree/gh-pages. Instead of a flat "demo", I want it to be more of a sandbox to play with lots of data and experiment. In terms of content, I've been inspired by the Ember.js docs.
