I'm not really sure how to contribute, but I have some command propositions to make. Here are them:
- cfdisk
- badblocks
- fsck
- parted
- mkfs
- cpio
- nslookup
- traceroute
- lsb_release
- dmidecode
- apropos
- dmesg

- lspci
And also, two other concepts that'll be great to mention briefly:
- Runlevels
- SUID/GUID
