thanks for giving the references, mdb is very cool(read through the codes a few months ago).
MVCC of nessDB is based on multi-version skiplist, main codes are all in basement.c and skiplist.c, it is still working in process.

Now, nessDB MVCC is based on leafentey XR structure, you can find on tree/lmb.h
