Hi, fishygeek91,

I am pretty sure boost note didn't delete notes randomly, but this issue is probably posted in wrong repository. The legacy boost note didn't have any cloud sync capabilities, neither web application as far as I know. You might want to open the issue in boost note next repository if it is an issue for boost note next application here: https://github.com/BoostIO/BoostNote.next/issues

Can you please describe which version of cloud did you use, what are you seeing currently (some screenshots) and did you have your account connected to cloud workspace or just used boost note old web application (for boost note next).

The new boost workspaces do save automatically (this: https://boostnote.io/) if you are using web cloud spaces, previously there were legacy cloud storages which is now deprecated, but you needed an account for that, so if you log into your account, you should get error messages since the cloud sync is no longer supported, in that case please contact @Rokt33r directly (on our slack for example).

Can you describe how are you trying to log in into your account, if there is any version info, do you even see your workspace or you cannot log in?

You also mentioned that some things stayed the same, but weren't synced, in any case if you used legacy cloud and there was no sync, notes should not dissapear, they should be stored somewhere locally (in browser local storage or similar).

I log in through https://boostnote.io/, using my google personal google account. I actually shared the page I was working on with my team lead, and he rolled his eyes at me. Come to find out (when I mentioned my notes were gone), he had said that all he could see was ~10 lines and he wondered why I shared it with him. I had continued working on the page for at least 10 days after I shared it. I just woke up one morning, jumped on a call, boss asked me what was on my list, and most of it was gone.

My computer might have updated overnight, but I lost nothing else and all my windows were open. I hadn't logged in or out of boostnote until today, when I went to write this, meaning, I haven't had to login for over a month. When I left the page, I just get a box that says "return to workspace" where the sign in would be

Okey, I see,

Can you please share more info, about account type, there is revision history available both in paid and free plans, so that might worth checking out.

If you logged in and write anything and had Internet connection at the time, the notes should sync automatically, we'll check this more detailed and let you know what happened, for now I think the best would be to join our slack and contact us directly.

@fishygeek91 Not sure what happen but I think the previous content should be available in our db. Please join our slack and send a DM to @Rokt33r. I might be able to retrieve the data.

Hi @Komediruzecki and @Rokt33r. I joined your slack community and messaged @Rokt33r but have not received much information regarding this.

When you ask which version I am using, I do not know where to find this. As I have said previously, I log on via boosnote.io and use the webapp. I have not downloaded boostnote do to the lack of compatibility with the MacM1 (not a fan of running rosetta). While accessing my notes, I was always connected to the internet. I left the tab open and came back to it everyday to mark my checklist which had a list of tasks separated by the sprint (this was multiple weeks worth of notes for a specific dev project).
