Thank you for the suggestion. boxen-web was wrote to work with GitHub. It can be changed to work without it but I think the Boxen team doesn't have interest of working on this change.

Could you try to change it and open a PR?

Fair enough, I understand it's not exactly in your interest internally. If
I do get to modify it for use with other auth I'll certainly PR it up. Feel
free to consider the issue closed meantime.
