Send data to main view about react-native-overlay

Hi @erikdung - you can do that through actions if you use Flux, or just a callback for the component in the overlay

updateArray(array) {
  this.setState({array: array});
},

render() {
   return (
       <View>
          <Text>Your app here</Text>
          <Overlay>
              <YourComponent onGetArrayFromApiOrWhatever={this.updateArray} />
          </Overlay>
       </View>
   )

@erikdung - this would work just like any other callback function in React.

For example:

  getInitialState() {
    return {text: ''}
  },

  updateText(e) {
    this.setState({text: e.nativeEvent.text});
  },

 render() {
    return (
      <View style={{flex: 1, paddingTop: 50}}>
         <Overlay>
           <TextInput style={{width: 200, height: 50, borderWidth: 1, borderColor: 'black'}}
                     onChange={this.updateText} ref="nameInput" />
         </Overlay>
        <Text style={{position: 'absolute', bottom: 15, left: 15}}>{this.state.text}</Text>
      </View>
    );

   )
}
