Just noticed that Eagle showed 3* missing libraries of which 2 were automatically downloaded but it still shows your pepin library as missing.

PS: Considering to build your version if I can source all the parts. Also considering adding HVSP feature and thereafter replacing AVR using Atmega328PB instead of Atmega8.

for some time now I'm using successfully the firmware from https://github.com/akrasuski1/usbasp-uart for my USBasps.

Is it possible to add to your firmware UART support ?

The ESDS314 chip is used for ESD suppression on the USB connector across all lines, including V_BUS. However, this chip has a reverse breakdown voltage of between 4.5 - 7.5 volts. If you get a chip on the low end of that, it will conduct and burn up as soon as you plug in the USB connector.
