Crash for localized files in a mod about cod4x_server

Are you sure the cod4 1.7 server has this problem not?

Yea. I just checked the stock 1.7 linux files again. It works without a crash.
My main goal behind the localized thing is a custom font patch. We've a custom font which looks good in all CoD4's except versions from russia. So my idea was to somehow start an extra download request for this localized file to patch their fonts. Idk if you have a better solution how I could patch the font via download

I know only one way (the way like IW did it): create and compile new font. But it requres some patches to engine (you might be able to select your custom font for hud using script) and tools to compile font (its struct pretty easy). I tried some time ago but failed for some reason.

Well I need your mod files to reproduce it. We are no active patches applied to this function either. So that error you face is not really making sense to me anyway.
