I was also experiencing crashes when using the installed version on a code base of around 400kb. However, after getting the project from source, updating it to .NET 7 and running it in the debugger, all worked as expected.

I can't reproduce the issue, can you give a more detailed example?
Do you see the error on Select Code File from Format Configurator?

I downloaded the latest version 2023.4.2 from the website but it still never completes.
