Dear Monica,
the legend for the heatmap can be read as following:
- red: mutation present,
- white: mutation not present
the 0,-, and x indicate a difference between the input data and the inferred data:
- 0 = input data: mutation, inferred: no mutation (hence, a false positive in the input data)
- x = input data: no mutation, inferred: mutation (hence, a false negative in the input data)
- - = input data: missing (inferred: no mutation/mutation)
Hope that makes the interpretation clearer.
Best,
Nico
