Well, Mongoose does not know what you do on your computer, it responds to Ethernet frames carrying IP datagrams carrying (in this case) TCP segments.
Your device running Mongoose will send logs somewhere and those seen on your console at a later time, as your buffer in your device is being drained as the console allows. If you sent 100000 connection attempts and your screen scrolls at 100 lines per second, you'll need 1000 seconds to see your log...
