I was getting this error too with the exact same environment (Next.js with TypeScript).
What fixed it for me was removing and reinstalling the package.

Ah. I'm not sure how I can help in this case.
I haven't tried Chakra UI on a Next Typescript project but it works fine with create-react-app Typescript. I really hope you can get the code on a link so I can take a look.
I'll create a Next TS project soon and try to resolve this issue.

Use import { ... } from "@chakra-ui/react" instead.
@chakra-ui/core is no longer supported.
