Looks like it's working now with the line

cs.sort(key = lambda x: x.date)

replaced with

cs = reversed(cs)

I'll confirm this later when the whole conversion is done.

I can't think of a good reason, that would have been one of the first things I did. Now if I had proper tests maybe we might know, but I suspect it was just stupidity. If you send me a pull-request I'll merge it into master.

How is the conversion going?

The conversion worked fine. Now when I diff the files in clearcase and the files in the converted git repo they all are identical.
