'with_chef_server' bootstrap permissions for client.pem and client.rb about chef-provisioning

Which provisioner are you using? What are the provisioner options in this case?

fog_provisioner i think. I am assuming he is using knife bootstrap with --sudo or knife ec2 (which does knife bootstrap --sudo implicitly) hence the client files are root owned. @Bairagi whats the use case for this.. are you hitting any stumbling blocks? or just keeping the same semantics with knife bootstrap?

oh, is this knife bootstrap / knife ec2? Those use a totally different codepath than metal. Metal ought to be sudoing on ec2 though. I think.

@ranjib no blocker for convergence (pem read to all looked odd, not worried about client.rb though).

This is a bug with knife bootstrap, and this repository has no effect on knife bootstrap.
