• PetFinder App

Description

• This is a frontend appication built using React and consuming data from the PetFinder API to display pets in your area.
• Users can search for pets based on their location, preferred animal breed and filter the results based on criteria.

Getting Started

Installation

• To run this application on your local machine, you will need to have Node.js installed.

• Clone the repository:

  git clone [email protected]:Chepkoech1/pet-finder-app.git

• Open in visual Studio Code:

  code .

• Install dependencies:

  npm install

• Start the development server:

  npm start

Usage

• Once the development server is running, you can view the app in your browser at http://localhost:3000.
• The app will prompt you to click on the login button if you already have an accout or signup.
• Enter your username or email and your password to view all the pets. You can search the type of pet you are interested in by name or breed.
• Once you have submitted your search, you will see the list fo pet thata match your criteria.
• You can also edit/update or delete pet from the list.
