I am a biologist pasionate about coding and data science

Christ14n97

I started coding in Python in 2019, after I finished my bachelor. During my MSc in Biochemistry at the University of Geneva, Switzerland, I have learnt to code in R as well as strengthen my background in statistical modelling, ML, multivariate analysis (MVA) and computer skills for biological research.

For my MSc thesis, I am developing a machine learning-guided workflow to identify biomarkers in metabolomics; acquiring skill in data sciences and bioinformatics. This lead to my current project: development of a Python library to automatize unsupervised and supervised multivariate analysis.

Since december 2021 I am working also as a freelancer at Fiverr, where I am developping my personal brand: CPAnalytics. You can find my profile in the last section :)

Currently, I am seeking of new projects, preferable, at the interface between IT and life science, where I can make use and refine my computational skills.

bash_mastery_2021 icon bash_mastery_2021

Computer Skill for Biologycal Research course gave practical lessons to get started with GNU/Linux environment to work with shell and shell scripting. The practical where focus on data file manipulation, file consersion and autimatization.

chemlearning icon chemlearning

High-level tools for chemometrics analysis of metabolomics data.

msc_untarg_metabo_workflow icon msc_untarg_metabo_workflow

My MSc thesis focused on the improvement of metabolite biomarkers annotation. The resulting workflow combined common unsupervised-supervised ML models with graph-based analysis of metabolic reconstructions.

r_package_2020 icon r_package_2020

R package developed to wrap-up tools for data manipulation as well as visualization functions in the context of multivariate analysis of metabolomics data.
