the line 63 in asm_inc.asm is below:

It is nasm syntax to decide the link mode: RIP-relative or not. please see nasm manual section 6.2: http://www.nasm.us/xdoc/2.11/html/nasmdoc6.html#section-6.2.1, it should be supported after nasm 2.0( I am not sure), could you use command nasm -v to check the nasm version?

Hi, Posldron, I build the latest code on my Mac with command line "make BUILDTYPE=Release", it is ok.
The possible cause of failure is that your nasm is too old.

On OSX I had to ln -s my /usr/bin/nasm to the one I got fro macports in /opt/local/bin/nasm. The one that apple ships is too old. My macports version is 2.11 which works for me.
