Instead of calling new call initialize_without_citus & use table_without_citus. Tho that might be hard through tooling, where you're better off staying on 2.0.0 until this regression is resolved
@mintuhouse can this override be made less intrusive?
It's a bit surprising to hear someone using this gem with MySQL since citus is a postgres extension
