@eads How should we handle this? It's really three events on three days that happen to be related (vs. one event that starts at 8 am the first day and ends at 4:30 the third day).
We don't have a FAQ yet, but when we have an answer here let's start one to document how to deal with this scenario.

I looked at this just last night, was puzzled, and being a weak and fallen creature, gave up like a coward.
The thing I'm wondering is how to distinguish an event that runs August 23 - August 25 from three events (Aug 23, Aug 24, Aug 25). I don't trust that the former scenario would never happen, nor that the site would make a meaningful distinction.
Perhaps there's something in the markup, though I didn't see anything like that. Probably, internally, what they should have done is create a recurring event for the three days, though Drupal Views handles that case inelegantly, so I understand why they wouldn't spam their calendar with the same, repeating event.
For the Documenters and ProPublica use cases, I suspect we could come up with a rule that specifies to always create three separate events for such a situation, but I'm curious what @diaholliday thinks. From the ProPublica side, you could imagine assigning a different reporter to cover each day and wanting a new notification in slack every morning or whatever. I imagine the City Bureau use-case is effectively identical in this instance.
