Doesn't build on modern Rakudo versions about bioperl6

I'm now in the process of cleaning up the code base (much of the code were early attempts at simply converting over some functionality of BioPerl to Perl 6).

And I agree, the class layout of Bioperl has always been a problem (Java-like interface classes were an early implementation detail that was in hindsight a major problem). So, let's take this as an opportunity to port functionality but implement things in a Perl6 way :) Any help would be fantastic!

BTW, apologies, my Github settings forwarded most of my personal code notifications to an old Gmail address. This should now be corrected.
