Are you adding gidNumber and uidNumber when creating the user? Those are required. You can just set them to something like 5000.

Hi. Using phpLDAPadmin I cannot add a gidNumber. It is a select list field which is empty.

GID Number has a hint which states "Automatically determined" and UID Number is read only and has been correctly "Automatically determined".

ou=users -> create a child entry // Create a new entry here -> Generic: User Account -> Template Value Error

You might have to add it via a script. gidNumber and uidNumber are strict requirements by certain objectClasses.

You could find the objectClass that is requiring it and then not use it to get around it.
