And additionally, a way for columns to auto size to the amount of text in all of them.
I've done some research on this kind of algorithm here: http://blog.jasondonenfeld.com/35 I can try to implement it in Clementine when I get the time.

I'm not sure all users will be happy with autosizing. As for me, I would strongly avoid the feature (at case it will not be optional).

Perhaps instead of auto-sizing, columns could remember their width in both windowed and maximized states? as long as people don't change the size of the window every time they use the player, this would achieve the desired effect without just making everything proportionally bigger on maximize.

With high DPI (>=146) columns by default are much smaller then needed. Auto-sizing is "must have".

I still think the behavior I described in comment 3 is a good idea, but it's not totally necessary. Auto-size is looking great, thank you so much for implementing it :)
