I realized I wasn't running the latest experimental, but I've double checked this and still get the issue.

Thanks for notifying me.
I repeated it with a master that has the "fix", The weird thing is that the correction code is missing, so I don't know where it went. I did however reapply it in the PR issued today (in a better way, as indicated by the accepted PR).
After recompiling that code I fail to find any zombie rain (again), so the PR currently outstanding should fix that.
