i've confirmed that this a bug in V8 (https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=935169) that may or may not be aggravated by how Workers handles devtools session. we're working on this upstream!!

i can confirm that this bug is only related to the Workers preview and does not happen in the paid products.

Oh interesting, I have seen this flyng-by. It seems to be a common use-case but according to the issue tracker nobody is actively working on it.

I'm not sure how problematic this issue is when using the Cloudflare's worker testing site, which I believe use the console.
