@drnic We are committed to not making any more breaking changes after 1.0.0. My hope is that there won't be any more between now and then but we want to leave that possibility open until we hit 1.0.0.
We've hit this pain ourselves, and have a lot of sympathy for it.
After 1.0.0 we hope to have additive changes only, or we will introduce schema versioning.
