Android program is composed of two part. 1) VM synthesis client: it transfers VM overlay to the cloudlet and wait until VM is synthesized. 2) Android client program for that works with corresponding backend server(running on VM).

To specify cloudlet IP address for Vm synthesis client, you can update CLOUDLET_SYNTHESIS_IP at CloudletActivity.java In your case, it will be 10.131.252.141 You also need to save VM overlay at Android device under /sdcard/Cloiudlet/overlay/[appname] and change handleSucessSynthesis() method at CloudletConnector.java file. I have to specify the ip when I create the vm image

you don't need to specify IP address of the VM. The IP address will be equal to the ip address of the cloudlet. But you need to specify the port number that your server program at the VM will use when you create VM overlay. See here. This port number will be saved on your VM overlay, so that will be automatically assigned when VM synthesis finishes.
