When facing this, I fixed it in an ugly way. Feel free to use this as an option if you don't have time for root cause analysis, but it will break as soon as python version bumps from 3.12

Thanks for pointing this out and providing the input, @njelich!
Reopened #4986 and implemented your suggestion. I also needed to remove Python 3.11 in our case.
I guess that's good enough of an workaround for now, hopefully we get rid of such old builds sooner than later. As long as homebrew has support, it's quite convenient.
