I have had this problem intermittently but now it is always there. My problem is that I cannot see the menubar icon for FoursquareX. I have uninstalled (wiping out all supporting files etc) the app and re-installed it but just cannot figure out how to get the menubar icon back. I prefer seeing just that without a dock icon. I would greatly appreciate help on this front. And thank you for a great app. FouresquareX: 0.09 Mac: 10.6.3
In 0.09 the menubar icon is now a mayor crown: http://github.com/codebutler/foursquarex/raw/master/Resources/menu_icon.png If you have a lot of icons in your menubar they'll get cut off if the active application has a lot of menus. Switch over to Finder and you should see it. To reset back to default settings (and restore the dock icon), delete the app and ~/Library/Preferences/com.codebutler.FoursquareX.plist.
I did everything you suggested before filing the issue. And I still cant see it with just the Finder. Any other suggestions? Thanks for the quick response!
Is the application otherwise working fine? Do you see a dock icon and can you choose Window -> Show Main Window? - Eric
