Iām not fundamentally opposed to it, but since anyone with basic JS knowledge would be able to cheat ā is it worth it?

I second @daguar, would be a nice addition. I suppose most users who play it won't know how to cheat and of those who do, few will. Worth a try, I'd say.
Maybe leave out the Twitter handle, so that there no benefit from being on the leaderboard. Keep it very arcade machine like.

I second it, too. It would indeed be a nice addition. Don't think, there will be many ppl who'd actually cheat...Arcade machine like, sounds good to me :)
