@nhooyr In my view, the primary install method should not be go get. I suspect the vast majority of users do not have go installed.

I think it just adds unnecessary clutter. An install script would be preferred.

An install script won't let you easily update. I'm fine with having an install script to curl the latest release into ~/.local/bin but Go devs will prefer go get.

We should also leave a note in the README for Coder engineers (or have it documented somewhere), since you will still want to install the latest release if you're actively developing on the product.
