For posterity:

dict(:[args]) -> {:[args]}

where rewrite :[args] { 
  ":[[k]]=:[[v]]" -> "\":[k]\": :[v]"
}

It's possible, but not documented yet :) What you do is use a nested rewrite rule like this: https://bit.ly/2LY8N3z
