Fixed in pandoc 1.10.0.1.

pandoc-1.10 (Brent Yorgey [email protected]) cannot use:

  • test-framework-0.8 -- >=0.3 && <0.7

  • test-framework-hunit-0.3.0 -- ==0.2.*

  • test-framework-quickcheck2-0.3.0.1 -- >=0.2.9 && <0.3

This is strange. I see pandoc 1.10.0.1 on Hackage, but when I cabal update it's not available for installation. This happened to me once and I had to reupload the package with a newer version. Seems like a Hackage bug.

Try it again. I just successfully installed it from another machine.

Note: every time I cabal upload something now, I get a 500 Internal
Server Error after a long time, but the package appears on Hackage
and can be cabal installed. I sent you the email before I'd gotten
the 500 error, so maybe it was a bit premature.

I'm now uploading 1.10.0.2, since I forgot to put some test
files in extra-source-files...

Now it's working, thanks.

I discovered mor missing test files. These are fixed in 1.10.0.3,
and now I don't get the 500 error. (Perhaps Hackage runs 'cabal
test' after an upload?)

I'm still seeing this failure:

Yes, I haven't updated BlogLiterately-diagrams yet. I've been away without internet access all weekend. I will update it tomorrow.

Sorry, it looks like this isn't as simple as just bumping an upper bound, some changes for compatibility with pandoc-1.10 are actually required. It also looks like the BlogLiterately package itself claims to be compatible with pandoc-1.10... but isn't. (!?) Not sure how that happened. I hope to have things updated and uploaded by Thursday.

Brent, there's a pretty detailed changelog for pandoc 1.10 at
http://johnmacfarlane.net/pandoc/releases.html

Thanks John, that was indeed helpful. I've now uploaded new versions of both BlogLiterately and BlogLiterately-diagrams which work with the latest pandoc.
