Hello!
You can enable networking in a Virtual x86 Arch Linux virtual machine by executing in the /root directory:
./networking.sh
Hope this solves your problem!

I did try running that file (both of the ways in it) and both of them errored out with a timed out, and could not make a connection. I do not know what is causing this (slow network, slow computer, maybe).

Yes, that could be caused by a slow computer setup configuration. Please try it again with all your other programs and windows closed, then report again.

I just tried with all applications either unloaded (not showing up in task manager) or closed completely. I ran the command twice with the same output (timed out). The Mips peaked at ~30 and then settled at .5 (about what idle is), so it is probably not my computer. I am, however, on a chromebook with 2 cores and a boost frequ. of 1.01 GHz.

Can you open https://relay.widgetry.org/ (Web Socket Proxy) in your web browser? This is what it's supposed to show:

That website did not work for me. That must be why i cannot connect to the internet. Is there any other relay that I can connect to, or a way to host my own?

That website did not work for me.

You have NS error or something else?

or a way to host my own?

see websockproxy or node-relay (needed docker) and use https://copy.sh/v86/?profile=archlinux&networking_proxy=ws://<your ws url>

Ok, thanks. As for why it did not work, my school blocks the website (I am 17, in 12th grade), likely because it was web crawled at some point, and found as suspect. There is no bypassing the block (certificate based, even on a different computer connected to the same network would not be able to). I might be able to figure it out, but very little hope in that. Thanks for your help though!
