I'm not seeing this exact description, but something is up: I see the actual 
requests go across the wire for resources that are definitely cached. 
Potentially a chrome bug...need to investigate some more.

Interestingly, a trunk~week build of Chromium/Webkit doesn't exhibit this 
behavior. Looks like it has been fixed upstream, but I can't find the relevant 
issue report at the moment.

I've experienced the same problem on Chrome 6.0.458.1 dev.

Enclosed is the extract from the Apache access log file. It shows that the 
second time, the cached java script files are no refetched.
The speedsaver output howevers reports as if they were fetched.
