Thanks for the report. Do you know if this only occurs when rotating with EaselJS? or does it always occur, even when just using the low level canvas APIs.

I've wrote the low level test as well, it is also not pretty (it is even bad with rotated filled rectangles, while being ok with stroked ones).

However, maybe easel can work around it, like jQuery does with selector inconsistence on browsers.

We're trying to avoid browser specific shims, especially around graphics output because we have so little control over it, and it can change slightly from minor version to minor version (especially as the browser vendors shift to GPU rendering).
