What does the daemon say about the seed nodes exactly?

Type print_cn on the daemons. You may get more information on the connections.

Start your node with add-exclusive-node. This should force a connection. Your simple wallet will not work until you get one or two connections.

I have no idea how to do the GUI wallet. I need to do that, but until recently, I didn’t have a fully working Linux version, and I need to work on officially getting a Windows version, but if I get the GUI working, I will definitely let you know. Unfortunately, with the amount of bugs that I had to fix on the daemon, this might be a while.

do you really need 1 or 2 seed nodes? i'm not sure if the instructions are accurate

You need 2 seed nodes. If you don’t, you will run into unexpected issues. The instructions are accurate. Please make a new issue instead of adding to an existing one.

@gldneagl “Why?” you ask. Short and easy answer: this repo’s owner is not active. You see, all you really need to do is make, then your done. But, unfortunately, the code was slapped together and thrown at the internet like the internet was a garbage can. But, people tried to improve this code. They made pull requests. They made issues. And the owner did nothing. So that’s why no one is putting hours in so that hundreds of people can create unneeded, unmantained coins. So don’t blame it on us.
P.S.
Builds don’t ever compile correctly for this coin.
