Well, the problem is that there is no "corresponding" Google's NDK version. Even though latest release of CrystaX NDK is 10.1, it's far away from Google's latest r10d. We're trying to keep major version the same as Google's one to avoid confusing peoples, but "correspondence" of Google's and CrystaX NDK versions is actually very fuzzy.
We've intentionally changed content of RELEASE.TXT to reflect that fact and don't allow 3d-party tools (erroneously) take CrystaX NDK as Google's one. I suppose the best way would be to fix android-cmake rather than trying to mimic Google's NDK in RELEASE.TXT.
In fact, RELEASE.TXT contains string "crystax-ndk-X.Y.Z" and optional " (64-bit)" suffix, so it's easy to parse it if needed.

Ah, that makes sense. I'll raise an issue (and probably open a pull request) over with android-cmake then - didn't realize it was more subtle than a "this is r10d+improvements" relationship. In that case, you might want to note something in the changelog file that the readme points to, then, since there it says the version is r10d.

You're right, changelog is wrong. I've added ticket to fix it. Now, closing this issue.
