Yes, just a simple text "Solution must have a log4net.config located in the root directory" I would imagine. Just because when I read "Dependencies : Log4Net" its not clear that I need a file anywhere. Thank you for the sample

Good idea.

Technically, log4net can be configured in an uncountable number of ways that may or not include an actual configuration file. That is one of the reasons why I left the description open.

Moreover, if you find yourself trying to debug EFCore, you probably have logging setup. And log4net has been the de-facto standard for a while. So I limited the exposed information to avoid confusion.
