What device/android version?
Any custom filters yet?
Possible related to root?
Does it also occur when you forbird SD Maid root from the start?

It is really about 10-20 secs long, I am using LG Optimus One with IcySnap 2.0. I haven't found out how to add my own filters :) I set it to obtain root automatically, do you want me to try it when denying root ?

Yes try it once with sd maid denying root, the list checks root once, but the check should have already been done on another thread previously, if that didn't happen it could explain the ANR, though 10-20sec even too long for a root check.

You have to enable custom filters in the settings.

Was this log from when you started SD Maid without root?
Looks like a root related issue, i will probably move the initial root request into a dialog, similar to how the helium app does it.
