So yeah, two points:

  1. For the fn-based workflow, I think we can use the parameter name and not have the inputs set -- that maps well with bind
  2. For the class-based workflow, I think that inputs will be another method/property (such as reads and writes).

We also want to think about what happens with iterate and run -- how do we input the params? What happens if we don't get them for a middle step?

Think we can get started with reasonable defaults/behavior and go from there.

Decision:

  1. run/iterate will apply inputs to the scope of everything run. They'll take in an inputs parameter.
  2. step will apply to the scope of just that step. It will take in the same parameter

Then we'll walk through, applying it to everything if declared.
