Mammut

Mammut provides an object oriented abstraction of architectural features normally exposed by means of sysfs files or CPU registries. Mammut is mostly written in C++ but C and Python wrappers of some parts of the library are available. It also provides the possibility to manage remote machines by using a client server mechanism. Complete C interface

Currently include/mammut/mammut.h is only a partial C interface to the mammut C++ code. In particular, it only exposes energy counters and energy measurements fonctions.

Topology, thread and processes management features are missing.

It would be helpful to build bindings to have the whole library exposed.

Dear Daniele,
I suggest to you some little improvements on the Readme, in order to make things a little bit more clear to users.

In particular there are some missing information about how to install (i.e. which env variables have to be set and how; by the way they are in many case overwritten by your Makefile so, pls, pay attention) and how to build/run a program that uses your library. A little bit of details on the demo part will be also delightful.

I hope that you take into account my opinions.
