Hi, I'm sorry to disappoint you.
The CUE-SDK provided by Corsair only allows to control LED-colors. That's why you always get transparent as a result - you simple haven't set anything else before.
Also the battery-charge isn't readable through the SDK. It might be possible (like everything :p) with USB-sniffing though.
