Have run pylint and tidied up the indentation in jprops but there are many more issues till to fix

Maybe we should agree on a pylint profile. So we stick to the same conventions.

Agreed. I would like to cover at least indentation (4 spaces) and naming conventions to match PEP8 (I think there are many places where I have got the variable naming convention wrong and would like to fix it).
What else would you like to include?

With 5c62c9a I removed quite a lot of the recommendation pylint was giving for my pieces of code.
However pylint seems to not see inherited methods of the _AvahiNAOFinder class. So there are a few mis-reported errors about avahi.py.
